R.O.I.
You are what you
are today because the daily important and not so important
choices you made every moment of your day became your R.O.I.
(Return Of Investment).
COUNTLESS
CHANCES
But you can always start all over
again, and make your choices more challenging than before.
WWJD (What Would JESUS
Do?)
Jesus before
doing anything else always consults the Father. Much more
when He has to make big choices or decisions. He would go to a lonely
place and 'talk' to the Father. He would present what was
in His heart and mind. Then
listened
to what the Father has to say.
Remember He went to a lonely
place and prayed the whole night, because He had to consult the Father
regarding His choice of who would He pick out from among His
disciples to become His 12 apostles. (Lk. 6:12-16)
We can also talk
to the Father or to Jesus or to the Holy Spirit in this way.
IMAGE OF THE FATHER, JESUS &
HOLY SPIRIT
But first we have to establish the
image of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit within us. How do we
look at the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit?
Do we look at the Father as a
powerful 'fixer?'
Do we look at Jesus as a miracle
worker?
Do we look at the Holy Spirit as
a gift giver?
Or do we look at each one of them
in the light of how we need them?
Although, the most
important thing is, we always run to the Father, or to Jesus, or to the
Holy Spirit every chance we get, whether we are on our way to work,
whether we are in our workplace, whether we are happy or sad, whether we
are successful or not.
For the Father, Jesus and the Holy
Spirit are at our beck and call, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and
actually all the days of our life.
So how do we approach the Father,
Jesus or the Holy Spirit or the Triune God. You see, you can approach
them as individual Divine Persons or as a 'package' - The TRIUNE GOD.
What a privilege for us!
STYLE OF APPROACHES
A child approaches her father, in
a trusting manner, no pretensions, simply bringing her little self. Then
pours out her heart. She might share her joys, laughter, and pains. And
she does this with all her heart and mind. And so she laughs, jumps, and
cries. And then listens to what the father has to say until she falls
asleep or return back to play or to little chores assigned to her.
A friend approaches her
dear friend in a trusting manner also. If both of them are busy, they
would set a special time and place for each other to meet and share
their experiences. When this happens, one waits to listen to the other
and feels the joys, successes, sorrows, and failures of the other.
Again, there's no pretensions. One is simply her real self before the
friend.

GOD FOREVER WAITS.
CAN ANYONE BEAT THAT?
The 3 Divine Persons: Father,
Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are waiting for us always. This Triune God
allowed Himself to be turned into bread, so that we can partake Him and
we shall be strengthened and be empowered in our daily choices.
For our daily choices are the passport to our real happiness.
Everyone wants to be happy. But real happiness is not an instant
emotional destination, it has to undergo a certain process so that it
will turn into real joy which nobody can take away from us.
The Triune God also allowed
Himself to RESIDE in that small box called tabernacle (which has a flame
of light, symbolizing that HE IS ALWAYS PRESENT WAITING FOR US) - so
that we can visit Him anytime we want, anytime we are free. There's no
other God in the universe who will do that.
But how do we approach Him? As a
child? As a friend? or simply as ourselves? You can pick out your choice
again. But really, after we have presented what was in our mind and
heart to GOD, WE ALSO HAVE TO LISTEN TO HIM WITH ALL OUR HEART and
MIND.
WWID (What Would I
Do?)_
Just sit, find a comfortable position, (this presupposes that you
are in the chapel or in your room in front of a crucifix) then fix your
gaze on the crucifix and focus your attention to Him and then
listen.... His language by the way is silence, so you have to be silent
too. You have to turn off all the channels in your mind and heart, i.e.
your fears, anxieties, weariness, etc. After all you are in His
Holy and Divine Presence and then just listen....
listen...listen....attentively... focusing your entire attention to His
Presence.
In your 'eye' of faith, rest
your head on His shoulder as you gaze at the crucifix and look at Him as
He gaze back at you lovingly, compassionately.
Then after
sometime, when you are done. Don't forget to thank Him. And set another
time to meet Him again.
When you go back to work or when
you travel back home whisper to Him in your heart and mind:
FATHER, JESUS, AND HOLY SPIRIT
PLEASE ACCOMPANY ME!
And empower me to walk with You
in Wisdom and Truth.
Amen!
Our God is a very respectful God.
He knows our needs, but He waits to be invited. TRY IT !!!
YOU WILL BE IN FOR A LOT OF SURPRISES!!!
MORE
If you
need further spiritual assistance, let
us
